Honda Insight for sale

Come to the realisation that I have no spare time to fix the Honda. Doesn't need much, battery pack is weak so has been disconnected, could do with reviving or replacing. Drives just fine and is just as efficient without the hybrid system anyway. Only 98,000 miles, superb condition, very straight body, HPI clear so no bumps. Full Honda service history. A rare and beautiful example, only 200 in the UK so be quick.

Wanted to make a few quid on it, so I'll start offers at £3495, the price I originally saw it advertised for.

Even if I raid all the kiddies piggy banks I don't think the wife would approve, already have 3 old bangers in the drive.

I'll continue to dream and maybe buy a lottery ticket at the weekend, you never know.

I hope it goes to a good home and sorry to hear that you are parting with it so soon after getting it.

Oliver.

Thanks Oliver, it's a special car, I'm grateful I've been lucky enough to own one, as a car I've always wanted. I may change my mind, but it's been sitting at my place of work for a Month now, unused.

It's certainly a beauty, and an MPG legend - I think all but one model year average over 70 mpg (imp.), I can't think of another eco car that I've checked that has such a strong average.
I don't have that sort of spare cash, plus a disapproving wife - and my needs are more than met by my current hybrid.
I'd still like an Insight one day though, they are special. Hope you've had a great time cruising around, admiring it and being admired Paul!

I've only done some 1500 miles, it's been a blast, but I've got my mind set on a new car now, so I'm going to need any spare cash for that I'm afraid. Like I said, if I ever get some time off, I might be able to get the battery done and start enjoying it again, watch this space I guess.

Sounds like you need to be in a trade union...!

P

Is that a delivered price???

Ha no sorry! I took the car for a short 30 mile blast night and achieved 80 UK MPG without trying, this car really does offer effortless economy.

That reminds me, must buy a lottery ticket tonight.

Will let you know if I win enough :)

Oliver.

I'll take lower offers, I'd be happy to get my money back, compare prices to those few examples on ebay, and mine is great value!
