Importing "Gas Cubby Free 2.7" data to restored iOS 10 device
My question: How do I import my Gas Cubby 2.7 (free edition) data from my iPhone (iOS 9) backup into my restored iPhone running iOS 10 WITHOUT using iTunes or iExplorer?
Here's my situation: I have an older MacBook running Mac OS X 10.7.5 and iTunes 12.2.2.25. I backed up my iPhone (iOS 9) using iTunes. I updated my iPhone to iOS 10 (over-the-air update). After the update, I kept getting error messages when I tried to connect my iPhone to iTunes on my MacBook via USB. After some research, I learned that my MacBook and iTunes do not meet the requirements for the latest iTunes and therefore iOS 10. Therefore, I no longer have access to my iPhone via iTunes, nor iExplorer. However, using iExplorer, I do have access to the iPhone (iOS 9) backup I made before updating to iOS 10. I have my tripdb.sqlite3 file from my backup. Is there a way to import it into Gas Cubby 2.7, Gas Cubby 3.0 or Gas Tracker WITHOUT using iTunes, iExplorer, or a computer? For example, can it be imported over-the-air via DropBox or other cloud storage? |
For a short time v3 is only available for the paid version. In the near future we will release version 3.0 of the free app. Until then it's not possible to switch from the free to paid version.
In the meantime, to prevent data loss, please do NOT delete the FREE version or try any other methods to convert. We appreciate your patience and look forward to rolling out v3 for the free users soon. |
