Sync between devices error?
 

I set up gas cubby on my phone as well as my wife's phone a while back according to the guide for version 3 and all seemed to be working ok. Today I filled up her car and got a 49mpg rating, obviously wrong so I figured she hadn't entered a fuel up. Turns out she had entered all the fill ups and they hadn't synced properly. The last fill up on her phone showed a 133 mpg rating, clearly missing fill ups from my phone previously. I manually commanded a sync by swiping down on her car screen and it pulled in the missing fill ups. HOWEVER, that 133 mpg value was still there. It seems the sync manually commanded brought in the missing fill ups but did not recalculate the resulting mpgs. I opened, edited, and resaved that fill up and the mpg was updated correctly.

Also, there's the obvious concern that sync doesn't appear to be running automatically for me and her.

What to do next since sync clearly works both ways manually, just not automatically?

The app is not checking for new information upon opening. The affects users like you and your wife. The developer is currently working to correct this to check for new data upon app opening, but limiting the amount of data used in this process.
