Why retire them anyway? The fuelly vehicle database is very useful for consumers in the used and new car market.

Taken care of. Happy driving!

When retired, the vehicle data stays in the database, and is displayed when people search that model. Retiring the vehicle takes it out of your personal dashboard so it doesn't get cluttered with vehicles you no longer own and/or drive.

It would be very nice to have a link to view old retired vehicles that you don't own. If for anything, to compare mileage/etc with your current vehicles.
But once retired, you cannot look at that specific vehicles data, correct?

Retired vehicles remain in the database, and are displayed when you search by year/model. Retiring them just keeps them from cluttering your dashboard.

Sure the retired vehicles are included in the vehicle database. But i'd like to look back and see the exact mileage i drove, number of oil changes and frequency, mileage out of the tires, etc.
Searching the database for the year/model isn't going to help with that. I'd love to retire the vehicles and keep my dashboard cleaner but not at the expense of losing that information.

You can still see all your data for retired vehicles, click your profile and at the bottom are listed "retired vehicles" which if you click, takes you to the dashboard with all your collated data still there.

That was easy :)
Thank you for pointing that out to me. I've looked for it before, apparently not very well...

Thanks!
