Remove From Garage After a Car Has Been Transferred

I sold a car last summer and transferred it to the new owner. He received it, yet the car is still in my garage (and I can add notes to it, whoops). There is no way to retire it once it has been transferred unfortunately. I'd like to retire it from MY garage, keep it in my retired list, but get it out of my garage and in full ownership of the new (current) owner.

Can someone assist with this?

Thanks!

Doug

My guess is that the vehicle was shared, not transferred. Shared vehicles will remain in both user's garage and can have data entered by both users.

Please try to transfer that vehicle to your friend, they will need to accept this in their Fuelly Mail. A transfer will remove the vehicle from your garage once accepted.

Yeah, see, that's the problem. It WAS transferred and not shared and was accepted by the new owner last June. He's still using Fuelly regularly, and I can see the current activity (and can even edit the notes). The problem is I don't have any control of that car's profile at all, and can't send a transfer or retire it or anything else. There are no options that were there when I still owned it.

I should have retired it, then transferred it to the new owner. Instead I tried to transfer then retire the car from my garage, and the option disappeared from the Profile.

I will attempt to retire the vehicle from your garage. If you or your friend have issues after I do so, please let me know.

It has been retired.

If I get a help desk ticket from your friend, I'm blaming you!
