Today's new cars come loaded with much electronics. Someone called EVs tablets on wheels. With so much onboard electronis it's natural for some car companies to elbow their way into industry trade shows that were once the exclusive domain of computers, TVs, and game stations.

Toyota introduced their Concept 1 car at CES in Las vegas.

The interesting part of Toyota's presentation begins at 10:24, when Toyota's head of self-driving research presents his thoughts on the current state of autonomous automobiles and his thoughts about when and how self-driving cars will be released to the public.
