Watched this demo of the Autonomous Nissan Leaf, here in the UK and was wowed by it. It even caught my wife's imagination and she doesn't drive and has no interest in cars, autonomous or otherwise.

Will watch your link right after writing this message... I saw a video with Robert Llewlling (sp?) going for a TOTAL Level 5 ride navigating city streets for 20+ minutes in a Nissan car. Tesla gets all the PR, but Nissan is quietly doing as well, if not slightly ahead of Tesla, with autonomous cars. I recall reading that Tesla doesn't use lidar, BTW.
