Please Remove Cloud Backup References

I've been using aCar solidly since April 2016, having switched from GasCubby on iOS to an Android phone, and inspired to a large degree by your merger with Fuelly. On the splash screen (even at that time), cloud backups are the first item noted / touted. My Nexus 5X recently bricked itself. Long story short, I am none too pleased to discover that cloud backups are a future feature of v5.

Perhaps you could remove reference to cloud backups on the announcement screen until that feature has actually been released?

The app has worked well and I certainly should have checked documentation more closely. At the same time, waving a banner of cloud backup when only local backups are possible and the fact that v5 has been so slow to roll out, are enough to make me at least research alternate apps. Hopefully v5 is close to release??

The guy that I would need to do that is currently on vacation. By the time he gets back, aCar 5.0 will be within a week or two of release.

Now, since you likely don't know when his vacation ends, the aCar 5.0 release should be before the end of the month. We will do a staged rollout through the Play Store, so I can't give you an exact date for when you will receive the update.
