Bug: Avg Miles/Fuel-Up
I joined a few years back, but recently purchased a new vehicle and noticed that the mini stat for 'average miles per fuel-up' is incorrect.
The problem appears to be because it's dividing total fuel-ups instead of total calculated fuel-ups. Of course that number will climb with more fuel-up records, making it less irrelevant, but the average is still lower than actual. You also can't delete the 1st fuel-up record without making the 2nd fill-up become the 1st (with no miles or MPG report; I tried, then added it back). |
Are you using odometer reading to track? This is another reason I hate this method, your initial fuel up has zero miles so will mess up your average miles per tank. It's annoying.
|
Yes I use odometer tracking.
So the trip method works correctly? |
Yes the trip method works better as your first fuel up will include miles, and fuel used. The only thing missing using this method is your first tank, as you have to go from a full tank to empty and full again for fuelly to do the math.

That sucks. I'll just remove the mini stat.
