Yea mine has either or, cc or speed limiter. To be honest, I hate the limiter, as you can accelerate as quick as you like up the point you set it, but then the lurching hesitation just feels weird, like fuel starvation. You can override it by flooring the throttle, for emergency situations or overtaking, I much prefer cc myself, but can see how the limiter is handy for urban driving.

My car is manual, and doesn't have CC - in fact, I don't see much point to CC unless car is automatic!

Ford, at least on the hybrids, has an eco setting for the CC. It would allow more speed loss going up hills, and won't accelerate as hard as a typical CC.

Dynamic cruise is going to become the norm soon. I think all the Toyota's sold here have it standard since they made their advanced safety features standard.
