I messed up a little
 

Getting a little OCD with my figures, but I messed my last fuel up up and can't figure out what I did wrong. I only got a cost receipt, so the litres I bought wasn't on there. I spent £57.23

Initially I thought the premium fuel was 1.289 a litre, so I just rang the garage and they said it's 1.209 (which seems too low for premium)

I accidentally saved 26.67 as litres saved, but it was more than that because of the cost and the fact that I was empty. I can't figure out the actual litres I put in the car. My fuelly mpg V's cars computer mpg was 4.7 difference, it's usually 3.5 average. Hmmm....

£1.209 for Premium is exceptionally low. I paid that, last Thursday, for supermarket 95 RON. It is now £1.217. Mind you, that would work out at 47 litres, which is about your average fill up.

I'm sure it was 1.289, it's always a 9 at the end here, even though technically there's no such thing as point nine of a pence. I've tried taking a penny off, or adding, just can't figure out where I went wrong.

It was the aliens. Or Murphy. Both are bad about messing with things. It may even be both of them conspiring together against you. You're lucky to get away with as little damage as you did.

Here it is always a 7!

Ah well, ill just live with it, it was still higher than my last tank, over the lifetime of the car, it won't mess up the average anyway.
