Mercedes EQC coming soon.

This should do well in the US market, with their love of SUVs.

Although suvs are popular on the market now, their aerodynamics are bad for efficiency, which matters a lot in EV's. I think every manufacturer should make a low riding saloon/sedan to begin with, like Tesla did, their model S is one of the most aerodynamic cars ever made. An estate would be even better, longer profile, more room for batteries etc.

As the video shows, the EQC's flat undertray makes a huge improvement to the aero. And 500 km range and 0-100 kph in under 5 seconds shows how efficient it will be. Plus they will also be bringing out an EQA, EQE, and EQS. Plus hints of a G-wagon.

It will be interesting to follow and see what sort of records it may set.

It would be nice, but it won't do any good if no one buys the sedan, and the investment can end up losing them money.

Tesla benefited from pent up demand, and in also building their own high speed network.
