New car low mpg

I bought a new 2019 canyon 3 weeks ago the mpg should be average 19 mpg. I’m getting a average of 10mpg. Before going back to the dealership I did the fallowing
Check tires
Reset the mpg display for trip 1 and 2
Check oil
When back to the dealership and they said that they could do anything nor check the truck because there was no check engine.

If it is brand new, the dealers usually don't do anything about mileage complaints while the vehicle is still in the break in period.

Until you wear the edges of the tyre treads you are never going to get good mpg. The average mpg is measured with tyres that have done at least 3,000 miles. Two new tyres decimated my mpg, so four, especially big ones as on the Canyon, will make a huge difference,

I agree with JockoT. You have to find alternatives instead.

JockoT,
Why am I re-reading your post from 2 years ago?

There are MANY old posts being brought back for some unknown reason.
