So you want to go around those corners really fast.

That thing is awesome, the sensation of speed must be like nothing else. I remember a road trip I did in a Caterham once, and the sheer sensation of speed you get in such a lightweight, lowdown car with zero refinements is something you can only appreciate in a car like this, or a superbike. It's what makes it so fun and/or dangerous. I remember having to duck low behind the windscreen because flat out on the straight, the air hitting me was stopping me from breathing, I can see why some people wear full face helmets when driving such vehicles now.

In 1975 I got to spend a week driving Formula Fords at Willow Springs. By the 5th day we were up to 135mph. Sitting about 3-4 inches above the ground it seemed almost supersonic. During an open session a race prepped Ferrari Daytona passed on the long straight. My 135 was suddenly nothing as he passed at 210. One of the coolest experiences ever. So yes, small, low, light cars do tremendously accentuate speed and performance.

Definitely. This is why modern refined cars with thier superb aero and awesome sound insulation amongst other things kinda makes them dangerous. The sensation of speed has been lost so people keep pushing to try and find it. Plenty of videos of versions of my car doing its limited 155 MPH top speed on the autobahn and it looks very relaxing. To think cars could then be passing you going 55 MPH faster on a public road is mind blowing, but modern technology and engineering is just incredible.

Yes, if it weren't for the whole getting smushed like a bug thing one could go sit in a lawn chair at the edge of the road as cars pass at 80-85mph and know what it feels like to some degree.

I used to ride motorcycles and even a small bike on the right stretch of road can make for an exhilarating ride.
