Engine light recently came on in one of my vehicle because of a faulty OBD-connected sensor. It actually stalled the car. Scary experience

Ranger had the ABS light come on, starting shifting really, and may have been using just two gears. It was the speed sensor in the differential, which could have been just malfunctioning from an iron filing stuck to it.

As I understand ... Sheldon Cooper would always tell Penny her check engine light was on! :)
