Forum banner code incorrect?
 

I was just trying out your new forum banner codes, and found what I think is a flaw...

when using the BBcode version, the image does not display in any of the forums I tested it on (including one that I operate) - because the IMG path does not end with a file type... for the image to display in BBcode, it must end with .jpg, .gif, etc.

When I right-clicked the image and did a save, Windows thought it was a PNG image, so I tried that out, but it still did not work.

What's up?

Also = the HTML code snippet is too long for many forums. (default is a 255 character limit on a phpBB based forum)

Thanks for letting us know about these problems. It sounds like BBcode and phpBB are just trying to keep up with problem scripts in their signature files.

I changed the sig stuff a bit so you might try it out now and see if it works. I added .png to the end of the image files, shortened the image file URLs, and cleaned up the HTML a bit so it's around 200 characters.
