Avg. Time Between Fill-ups

I rarely drive my car, and when I do, it's for short distances. I'd like to see stats relating to average time between fill-ups (and, related, amount and cost of gas used per day).

Yeah, not a bad idea. We're working on some annual estimate data for costs and fuel use and could certainly toss time between fuel ups in there.

I like it also. I drive daily but mostly around town so it takes me almost 2 weeks to drive out a tank at over 700 miles per tank. With this site it makes me want to drive more so I can log another tank but I just wait and wait. Oh well.

Can I trade with VWJunky or Dave? I drive 90 miles round trip daily for my commute. I'd love to go 2 weeks between fuel ups.

90 miles wow! I used to do that in a old VW thing about 15 years ago! At least back then the gas prices was not a problem. I had to turn on the Gas heater to have heat during the winter time. All the smell it would put out! Old memories! LOL!

I drove a 120 mile round trip commute in a 1967 VW Beetle for a little over a year, fortunately Southern California doesn't get awful weather like most of the country but that car could get cold and miserable in the winter, especially when it was raining.
