HTML in posts?

Another Q for you Matt -

The old forum software used to permit either HTML or BBcode in the editing window. The new one appears to accept BBcode (or equivalent) only.

I've notice quite a few old posts that have "broken" links, or missing images, etc., because of this.

Can you enable HTML with the new software?

HTML can be enabled... I havn't quiet decided if I want to or not though. There appear to be some security concerns with posting pure HTML code.

The old software had a HTML filter that only allowed certain tags. This software doesn't offer such a luxury. I'll do a little research and see what I can find.

Fair enough. If it can't be easily filtered, and you're not sure about the security risks, leaving it alone is reasonable.
