I'm not worried about the mid, I've dropped it so many times, but it's tough, :p

That stuff is silicone caulk. I use it on vinyl dashes....if you don't have polish or silicone on the vinyl...it will hold pretty well...but you can still get it off later.

I just buy the big $4 tubes...regular silicone caulk.

As far as velcro...stuff isn't worth sh*t due to the poor adhesive they use on it....same result on a dash...just melts and falls off. Need to clean it up with acetone...but do it fast.

polyurithan glue of any sort works rather well from what I've seen, I have a tube of poly calk that I use for glueing stuff together, $4 for a tube of the stuff and it stands up pretty well to heat, water, vibration, I have some on my shoes, some holding a knife handle on, some holding the clock in my rear window of my car, I try to keep some on hand all the time, oh, and the calk also works great as calk for sealing stuff up.

Im using velcro on the SuperMID. But due to the heat, I have moved it under the visor of the instrument cluster so it is protected from the sun. It sets below the tach. No problems with the velcro yet.

The liker likes the likee due to like opinionisms on certain subjects. But on this one we must agree to disagree. I'll stick with velcro or duct tape due to it's lack of permanantumness.

And just for good measure, I suck.

I hope it wasn't me that said something mean that started you on the sucking business.
