The other thing that they didn't put in was "codfishing"!
|

Every time I google myself I find something new. :o How often to you guys google yourselves?:p
I was interviewed at Hybridfest and I proofed the story a few weeks ago. I expect to see something new soon. |

Seriously... we need to start getting GasSavers in the news... any ideas? |

How about a 14 YO honda with 400k miles that gets driven by a team of drivers for over 1000 miles on a single tank of gas. I wonder where we could find such a car? Or we could drive a Firefly for 1600km across Canada on a single tank of gas. I would volunteer the VX but it is too boring cause I don't have the fancy wheel skirts.:p |
It's a pity there's no one in the NH/VT area or we could pimp around next year with this idea. I'm too far from everyone!
However, a civicy marathon thing would be great, possibly a competition of sorts, though small, to spur things along. |
Dan, do you know who coined the term "hypermiling"? It showed up in the Toronto Star today (bullet-list of the tips from this week's Washington Post article). I wonder if it's breaking into the public lexicon...
Someone registered hypermiling.com this week too. |
It was wayne, wasn't it?
|
The coiner, or the registering person? (Wayne's name isn't on the registration.)
Also, it doesn't really work for metric countries: hyperkilometering doesn't roll off the tongue, eh? :p |
