Any foreign language speakers here?

Does anyone here speak another language fluently?

I speak Filipino rather well... I woudln't say I'm like a native speaker, but most I never have a problem speaking with filipinos for hours on end if I need to.

I also am kind of conversational in Spanish, but most of that I've lost since college.

I speak Finnish , but very badly.

The finnish language is like a jigsaw puzzle , with half the parts missing , and the other half doesn't make any sence at all.

I can get by in French conversation. And I know all the swear words. :)

Apparently I speak it better than I understand it though, since I often ask people to slow down when they're talking to me.

Japanese here

Studied all through high school and majored in college. Haven't used it since graduating though so I have lost a LOT of it.

If I worked on it, I could probably get my German back. Maybe.

I ask for a simple reason. I have a tracking software that tells me where all of the visitors to GasSavers live. I was starting to wonder if we should at least have a few foreign language forums for people outside of the USA/UK/Australia. I'm unsure if it would take off or not, but it's a thought.

Are you planning on localizing the site?

I speak Southernese. Never went to school for it. I've spent a good portion of my life in LA and its just comes naturally. I can even drop the accent whenever I go someplace else. Oh, I guess I should mention it before someone gets it mixed up, LA is Lower Alabama. Sorry, I had to say it. :D

Actually I used to be able to read German when I lived in Germany. Taught myself so I could read their car magazines. :p
