The Fit is a small station wagon? NOO! I'm an old man.

Anyway... I've seen pictures of 2-door Honda Fit's in Japan, so hopefully they'll be importing them soon.

Look on the bright side -- you'll be able to make your rear wheel skirts out of faux wood paneling.

I had a 1998, it was rated at 21/26 but was a 4 banger. I guess the extra cylinders killed it. Like always the consumer needs more power:p

that newspaper doesnt know anything. they skipped the lotus elise, honda insight and seriously what else is in the mini-compact class???

also isnt the hybrid accord the same size as the sonata???? even the non hybrid accord gets a better epa rating than the sonata. they also forgot about the hybrid camry. something is askew in these 'awards'

Yeah, I guess the soccer moms think its necessary to have a damn van that will out accelerate most compact cars through the quarter mile

Odyssey

We had a 120 hp 2.5L 4 cyl caravan. What a dog. Driving dynamics are bad, feels much taller than it is. Real world mileage was right about 21 mixed/26 hwy. Sold it after 3 years.
The 250hp 3.5L V6 Ody is a rip when the VTEC comes on - much safer when passing big trucks uphill in the mountains - but that happens rarely. Handling is much, much better and is alot more satisfying to drive. Real world mileage is just better than 22 mixed/27 hwy so we see alot more power WITH better mileage and better handling. Definitely the winner if you think of a vehicle as more than just an appliance.
If I had my druthers though they shoud've had a VTEC-E version of the V6 or even a large VTEC-E 4 cyl. For daily driving I think it is overpowered. We've used maximum engine output maybe a few times in the 3 years we've had this one. We plan on keeping it until 250,000miles. It's great. 60k on it now.
