Creative Night With the Coroplast
 

I was having a good time with a good teacher of mine, Dr. Karkov, when we thought up this idea...

A few zipties on the steering bars got it mounted up, so we decided to take it for a quick spin. I quickly found out that only mounting it to the handle bars would allow it yaw forward eventually being sucked underneath the front wheel causing a quick crash (Mental Note: save testing for the morning. I then added zipties lower on the brake levers to prevent this from happening again. I took it for another drive and it is noticeable faster, even though the majority of me is still exposed to the air. It also gets slightly wider then my legs right behind them, so i'll have to deal wtih that too.

While not the ideal solution , Ime sure it does do something :thumbup:

That's what i was thinking, later i'm planning on adding a tail section just behind my legs, I'm still afraid off all the drafts goin in on the top, the bottoms close enough to the ground to be less important i believe. I'm also thinking of a Diamond shaped thing instead of a coat, I've got soo much coroplast to play with now!

Corplast sheet is good stuff.
I made a 2 meter wingspan RC glider from it a couple of years back and it flew ,, badly , but it did fly.

Biggest problems is joining it , most glues dont work so many people use large staples and such like.

To get tight bends in line with the stripes you can cut one side with a blade.
If you cut about every 2cm you can form some very nice bends.
