Gaslog entry blues

All:

I found the Metro logbook, so I started entry of what I have (miles 1-59,000 are unfortunately lost) but I have the last 40,000 here in the book.

I just did up 13,000 miles of the Fit, and I am digging for the 120K of data on the Camry, but I may have pitched it also.

Anyhow, is there a quicker (IE, spreadsheet) way of entry of data Vs. PAGE by P-A-G-E for each entry?

Thanks in advance-

if you have them in a spreadsheet you can send them to me and I can load them in. It might take me a day or two to do it, but I can do it much faster than you're doing it right now.

Spreadsheet, no, they are handwritten in ledgerbooks....sorry.

Thanks, I will knock out a few as I can.

You might be able to add them to a spreadsheet faster than the gaslog, so consider it. As long as you include the date, gallons, and miles (anything else is a plus) I can do the rest.

Type them into a CSV text file (Comma Separated Values) and then import them into excel would be the simplest way.

date,odo,gallons,cost
date,odo,gallons,cost

actually, just sending me the CSV would be faster, as I need a CSV to import it.

Perhaps I'll code in the ability to upload CSV files for the gaslog, right after I get to the other stuff i need to do. :P
