Anyone want to post their emissions?

It would be cool if anyone has their inspection printout, to post the spec'd emissions data alongside recorded emissions testing data. It would be interesting to see how many of our older cars hold up against today's cars in terms of their output.

modern vehicle emissions scores:

https://epa.gov/greenvehicles/select.htm

anybody know some other links?

edit: I was thinking of taking my car to be inspected so I could see the emissions, but I don't need to get it inspected til '08, will they let me do it now?

Great idea.

I know I have the last on from my 89 Accord, and I should still have one for Firefly #1. Don't think I have one for the Blackfly though, because the previous owner did it just before I bought it.

I wonder if we'll be able to compare info from different jurisdictions though. Test methods might vary.

yeah i saw that, bmws run rich, we have to bring ours to a private mechanic to pass it (94 325i). They have to get it to a certain temp, and run it at a certain rpm i think, or it won't pass. If you go to the epa link I posted, you'll find the differences b/w the manual and auto insight, and the cali/non cali. Big differences there, the scores vary from 3 to 9 out of 10! cali auto being the best, and 49 state manual the worst if I am not mistaken.

I'll be getting emissions this week (hopefully) and I'll post them.

Papers are good in NJ for 4 years, budomove? We have to get sniffed annually here in GA to be able to get a tag!

In CA it's the same way. In Utah it's every other year, but I think owning a new car exempts you for a number of years.

Took my wifes '04 Honda Odyssey to the dealer today for emissions & state safety inspection... Got the emissions report back and all is says is PASS; they did the OBD-II (quick) test vice the tailpipe (sniffer) test, and all the boxes have N/A in their fields

I'm bummed 'cause I like to track the data. I'm going to call the dealer to see if the actual numbers are available from my test.

Emission ... LIMIT ... READING (@ 40 km/h / idle )

HC ppm ... 66 / 150 ... 9 / 8
CO % ... 0.37 / 0.7 ... 0.00 / 0.00
NO ppm ... 505 / na ... 53 / na
RPM ... 1685 / 634

Dilution ... 14.20 / 14.40 (don't know what this is)

Edit: Aug 24/05, odometer at 2,460 km.
