What does it say when two vehicles I consider noteworthy have been lampooned on The Simpsons?

(Does anyone else remember the EV1 episode? :) )

Well. on the Simpsons, what wasn't lampooned? It was considered kinda chic for an actor to get to both play and lampoon him/herself.

Then there was the Canyonero:

Oh yes, the Electaurus! I tried finding a screen cap, but couldn't. Wasn't the car drawn as the EV1?

Yes, I guess when it's been on the air as long as it has, it makes for a pretty thorough lampooning ability.

My favorite car mention is when they're on the electric car of the future ride down in orlando or something and the car says something like "I don't go very fast, or very far. And if you drive me, people will think you're gay." Just then a group of flambouyant young gentleman robots came on the side and started chanting "one of us."

Sort of. It resembled the GM Ultralite a little bit, and seated 4. I also believe it was white.
