Canadian VX's, whats the difference?

I think I have a canadian VX, eh. Whats the difference between a Canadian, a California and a US?

The big giveaway will be the speedometer: if it's CDN, km/h will be the major units, mph will be marked as minor units.

That, and it will be very polite to other cars. Always letting them merge, etc., saying "pardon me" a lot.

MetroMPG 12-28-2006 04:01 PM

Oh, and all post-1989 Canadian market cars have daytime running lights.

i saw canadian sticker under the hood and jumped the gun, turns out according to my ecu it is indeed a us car. no worries, eh

Is the canadian model like the CA in having no lean burn?

MetroMPG 12-28-2006 07:06 PM

the 11th digit in your honda VIN tells you were it was made, all civic hatch backs from 1992-95 were built in Ontario Canada (factory code H) the 1992-95 US sold sedans were built either in East Liberty Ohio (Code L) or Suzuka Japan (S), all Canadan sold 1992-95 sedans were made in Japan.

other then that I was only able to find a differnce in the head light wiring (running lights) in the factory shop manual that normaly points out small differnces, like it does with CA modles.

Actually, I think in Canadia they were called the Civic V-Eh
