WTB: 88-91 civic a/c system

I am looking to put a/c into my 91 civic std, so anybody who doesn't use it, gimme, gimme, gimme.

I won't be able to use this car for work unless it has a/c :p

This would only work if there were anybody within 100 miles of nj, cause it ain't worth shipping.

I need:
compressor
condensor
fan
lines
brackets/bolts
wiring harness (under hood)
a/c relay (in engine bay fuse box)
underdash evaporator box
belt/tensioner
button
:)

Was AC not an option that came on your STD or did you just remove it? If you have one of the STD's that came without AC, you can probably sell the button block off and the evap box bypass tube under the dash to someone who wants to remove ALL AC components but retain the heater function.

Local junkyard may be your best bet...I had to replace my evaporator last year...got a new/old one for $20 from Pull-A-Part.

Budomove: I need to put an A/C system into my 89 Honda. I was able to wait for a 50% off sale at Pick A Part, then I went down and found an similar model car, with a little pressure still in the A/C. I pulled all of the parts for the A/C off, and I probably spent about $100.

I also did the same thing for an 87 Hatchback, which one of my daughter's is driving while she goes to College. That one I finished installing in late June, got it evactuated and recharged, and it was much more pleasant with the A/C, in the summer time, than not.

Good Luck!

Yeah, I'd love to find a car to pluck the a/c from, it'd be a good way of familiarizing myself with the system b4 installing it on my car.
Thanks for your help guys, I will continue looking for a vehicle. ;)
