i dont have it but i've been thinking about it.

My Pc could barely handle playing BF1942 so when BF2 came out I was bummed, and I know I wouldn't be able to even begin to think about playing BF2142. But I do enjoy watching videos of game play on you tube.

I think my computer is pushing it for BF2142 right now.

I use this computer for a lot of high end engineering work... autocad, etc.

I also use it for graphics and 3d rendering (3d studio VIZ/MAX).

It works fine.

Yet when I play BF2142 my processor fan kick into high gear.

Back when I had my 16mhz 386Sx, I would have never thought a 3.2Ghz computer would be too slow.

alot of my old games kick the fan on high too. i have a G15 keybourd with the CPU readout and during the game it never leaves 100% i have extra cooling fans and they work till the prossessor dies right when the final boss in Doom 3 has one more hit to take b4 he dies.:rolleyes:

try turning down the resaluton or the vidieo quality. that helps on mine.

also now a-days if u dont have a up-to-date vidieo card that can handle it your prossessor has to work overtime. at least 128 Mb vidieo is prefired. i have 512 mb and still have problems sometimes.

a fast prossessor is nothing with out the RAM to back it up. AT LEAST 1 GIG is prefired. i got a 1.5 GIGs in mine and have 4 GIGs coming.
