Hey people: enter your location in your profile please
 

I've noticed a lot of people in the forums with no location beneath their screen names.

Maybe it's just me, but I like to see where you are from. It gives your posts more context (ie. an understanding of what kind of weather you experience, or the terrain you drive in).

Also I find it helps me to remember people better when I've got that extra chunk of information to add to the name.

If you're concerned about privacy, you don't have to enter an exact location. State/province would be fine if you don't want to name the city/town.

I will echo the fact that knowing where someone is from makes it easier to remember where they are from.

Can it be a required field in the signup process?

It also helps when you are looking to buy or sell parts.
