Fuel-up Total

I noticed that when you add a new fuel-up, the total cost cell is not rounded to the nearest cent. (This is also true when one views a single log entry.) Although, in some places (like the general log page), the total cost cell is rounded. Since the gas station rounds off to the nearest hundredth of a dollar, shouldn't it be the same here?

We're just conserving space on the car detail page, and we show the price/fuel-up to three decimal places. Do gas stations really show the total to three decimal places, though? That hasn't been my experience.

I'm not sure what advantage that extra decimal place would give you.

That's just my point, gas stations can't charge you $10.945; they can only charge $10.95. So, total cost for a single fill up should only show 2 decimal places.

I only noticed this issue because my total cost for 2010 is 1 cent off of what I actually payed. I think this is most likely because when the calculation is done, it adds all the fuel-up totals and then rounds when it should round off each fuel-up total and then add.

This is a tiny, tiny issue that I only noticed because I'd say I'm a little OCD about numbers.

oh, I see. Thanks for the clarification. I'll take a look at it.
