Naw -- the cool thing about riding a 'bent trike or a velomobile is that so many people have never seen one on the road... So the immediate reaction is "whoa, what's that - let me keep my distance"
At least that has been my (limited) experience on tadpole trikes :thumbup: And I've heard the same thing from the trike community :thumbup: :thumbup:

With proper ventilation (and clothing), fully "sealed" HPVs aren't too bad. Unless you're at a stand still. It's no climate controlled car, but it's enjoyable :) If you're in the Central Florida area - there will be an HPV challenge/competition in a few weeks at UCF... If you're in the area, I'm sure you can coax someone to let you ride their vehicle (mind you - these are all non commercial hand made prototypes - so be careful). |
