Lol, Snax, if gas hits 10bucks a gallon Im selling my car for 5 times what I bought it for. :) No doubt it would draw some attention for the FE...

Clearly there are compromises and exceptions to what might to others appear to be unreasonable behavior, but my point is that if you look around in any given town, the number of shiny pickups and SUVs getting used for nothing more than commuting for a single person is ridiculous. And when those same people complain about having to drive a long distance to a job where having that type of vehicle is totally unnecessary, it's just laughable.

I never said that doing the right thing was easy either. I'd love to drive a car to work when it's cold or rainy, but the fact is, I don't NEED to. I have found an alternative that works for me. Obviously it simply won't work for many people to bike to work, but for most people, there really are alternatives. They are just unwilling to accept the compromises that accompany them.
