None of the american passenger car tires made by hankook even remotely resembles these(not surprised, but was hoping) lol, we sure get the best here in the states!

Nope. Take a closer look at all the tread angles of all the ribs on both.

...and why I said "similar" meaning pretty close .Take a look at the model # of the tire ..pretty close . Thats all .

Once again, we get screwed in the US due to the preoccupation with "all season" tires....

I may have to actually start getting tires out of Europa...

Shucks, here in the good ol' USA they won't even set a standard spec for rolling resistance and publish it with the UTQG. We were close to getting that, at least in California, but the lobbyists went to work with a vengeance and we consumers continue on without information.
