Grar! I hate my car's City MPG...

And the fact that this whole tank is being City... And stuck in the traffic in the parking lot of college (It's not a matter of parking far away, but finding a parking spot period...)

I've spent the last week doing naught but city driving, and lots of it... And my FE is suffering massively...

GRAR! My bird may be great for the highway, and get 45+ on a nice level cruise (Even at 60 mph!)

But stop and go for a whole damn week?

20 MPG! AAAARRRG!!!!


I am so depressed, and rather just... Grar...

I guess my current goal will be to somehow maintain my status as Hypermiler, but if this keeps up, It'll be tough...

*sigh* I miss summer... My job was a half hour away, all on county highways... Such perfect hypermiling conditions...




I need a bike.

Could be worse, I get around 10 MPG hunting for a spot in the morning, and a pure city cycle will net me around 14 MPG per tank

Plus even with the hypermiler savings you could be using less gas per week since you're traveling such a shorter distance now.

I like the bigger numbers too but driving extra just to get them sucks. Like now I'm thinking of just throwing all of my ideas on at once because I really can't afford to shell out the $30 for a 1/2 tank every 2-3 days! Grr...

I never get to do all highway miles but I'd love to see what I could do FE wise. About 3/4 of my driving is rural city.

Parking lots suck!
