Well, if it does come down to making a road trip to Minneapolis, I wouldn't mind working on your car and showing you a few tips 'n' tricks. I wouldn't drive the car that far with what the rear brakes looked like though, lol.

SVOboy send 1993CivicVX a pm. since your only 200 miles away if you half that its only about 100 miles you both have to drive which isnt bad at all.

1993CivicVX you really should meet up with Svoboy. I believe he could really help you out. Just pick a middle town with a autoparts store in which to meet.

We should really try to make this happen.

car stops fine and the brakes never make any noise. But 08060 might be a little more reasonable. :) I just might take you up on that offer SVOboy. Yep, 204 miles from my house.

This is a 93 car, so Im thinking that timing belt might be REAL easy to check. I remember 83 Corolla where it was sitting on side of engine covered by platic housing. Not even an hour to change in friends backyard. If U know someone they might at least be able to check for free.

On an unrelated note, 98 Camry pedal STICKS sometimes. Toyota dealer told me it was throttle body and cleaned for about $60. Didnt do crap (damned theives) thouh as pedal still sticks like crazy. Its a real hassle as when I switch from D to Neutral and back to Drive the pedal will sometimes stick and I have to press pedal REAL HARD sometimes to give gas. Sometimes when I brake and then hit gas to start up again, it sticks. Sometimes it doesnt stick at all, but over the course of a ride it wil happen a few times. Its pretty persistent and annoying. Its an everyday occurence that happens often on every ride. Any ideas??? Most noticable after braking and after switching back to drive from neutral coast.
Im in NY metro area (Brooklyn/Queens/Long Island) and GOOD, honest mechanic is hard to find
