95 Metro Service Manual

I just picked up a 95 Metro and am trying to fix a few issues with it. Does anyone know if there is a Service Manual posted online anywhere?

The temp gauge reads cold all the time and I need to figure out if it is the gauge or sensor. I don?t want to purchase a sensor ($30-45) if that isn?t the issue.

I believe this chart covers the 95. Use it to check the sensor. You may have to remove the sensor and put it in a pan of water on the stove.

If the guage read C (cold) all the time the guage is broken. Very few cars read Dead Cold all the time if any. It should come off C. My taurus shows no rpms and doesnt show how hot the car is either it stays on c all the time. But I know it does cool. If you car starts stalling or the fan doesnt kick on then its overheating.

They might have some stuff on https://teamswift.net (metro is a clone of the swift).

Make sure you have coolant in the engine before you do anything else, then look for a loose wire by the temp sensor (or any wires that might have come unplugged, got cut)
