I Finally Got A 1995 Civic Vx 1 Owner Car!...but I Have To Fly To Go And Get It!
 

Well I was finally able to find and buy the Civic Vx I always wanted. Its a 1995 with 96,000 miles on it original owner all maintenance records for the car. No rust, was originally a california car I think. The car is white no dents or dings has 2 tiny paint chips on the rear bumper. The interior is really nice besides the drivers seat tear in the bolster. I have been looking for a 1 owner 1995 VX with under 100k for a long time. I think I will have this car for a long time. I will be selling my 1996 hatch its on ebay at the moment, great car just always wanted a VX.

I will be flying up to Washington DC tomorrow from Orlando Florida, Orlando is a 4 hour drive from my house, but cheaper plane ticket...only 125.00 via expedia.com , then I will be driving back with a friend of mine. Its a 14 hour drive to Tallahassee Florida where I live but I have to drop him off in Orlando so its more like a 18 hour drive to Orlando and then 4 more to turn around and drive home.

I think it will a be a real test for the car. I hope its as great as everyone makes them sound. I have not seen or driven the car yet, my friend test drove and looked for the normal things such as leaking fluids, crappy brakes, exhaust, rust, dings and dents etc.

To those wondering how much I paid for the car...I paid 3200.00. More than a fair priced based on what I have seen on craigslist, cars.com, autotrader.com etc. I have never seen one besides this one with less than 100k on it.

I don't like red at all...I like the teal ok, it seems like a girl color but I like it because its unusual. I like the white because it keeps cool in the Florida sun and is a relatively neutral color.

Timing belt and water pump were changed at 79k so I think im good for a while. The CV joints were replaced yesterday.

Anyone have any tips on getting the max gas mileage without taking 3 weeks to get back. To stay in lean burn what RPM do I have to stay under?

actually just got an update..the entire cv axles were changed...nice..!
