Elaborate??

What does it say on the side of your tires? Probably 35 or 44.

You can go over that, they wont pop, but your ride will be harsher and the wear wont be as even.

My metro is 45 in 35 tires (rough) and my mustang is 50 in 51 tires (rough as hell)...

My fronts are 35 and my rears are 44. So I put my fronts to 43 and my rears to 48. I am told bad to have rears higher than fronts as the rear of the car has little weight and could get squirrely. But... what am I gonna do?

Do you think they should be the same, i.e. 43 PSI for his purposes?

I am super cautious. With 35 PSI max and a normally low/unloaded car, I would probably go up to 40. But, since others have been running 60 PSI in 44 rated max tires, I think 43 PSI is ok.
