Hello Larry -

Welcome to GS! There's someone with a similar contraption to yours. I can't tell your year/make/model from the picks. What is it?

PS - You have weird weather out there. That's the strangest mixture of snow/rain/grass I have ever seen.

Welcome Larry..Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is a Dihatsu (sp?) Midget, is it not?

IIRC Colin is the one with a similar Kei truck. He is actually loval to me in Minnesota.

looks a bit like a smart pickup ;)

Congrats! Looks very cool. Any pics of the interior? What kind of mileage can you expect to get?

daihatsu midget

it's a 1996 daihatsu midget II, has about 45.000 K on it . so far i've put a turbo muffler and 2 inch pipe . and am looking for some higher speed gears for the rear end. it will run about 45 mph all day, but sounds tight at higher speed. i'll get some more pics posted of the inside .

ps the "snow" was just to block out the junk in the background. it hasn't snowed here in 10 years:mad:

Whatcha hinding in the background? Marijuana plants, right? It's good thing you blotted it out because I would have been able to tell where you live from your yard and then I would have come by and stole your smart pickup.

Wait, where do you live? I never seen nothing like that before. In what country was that made? Sorry, I'm USAcentric. I forget people can live in other countries.

How many cubic centimeters is that engine? 15 cubic inches? hehe. I wonder if you could squeeze an Insight motor in there. Then you'd get like 100mpg and 0-60 in like 8 seconds. :D

That's a japanese kei truck, because japanese people are too cool for the junk trucks they sell here...

Awesome truck. I was poking around your other picks and saw a procedure I recognized, and I'm sure coyote recognizes :) What's that, about 5 degrees advance at the crank?
