I wouldn't do that too much with a clutch with unknown miles on it. It won't be long till the smoke you see will be your clutch not catching... Though I agree it is fun. On my 240k mile drivetrain and bald tires I did a huge smokey burnout with my vx....great fun.

if you dont mind the headache of pushing it through inspection, you came out of the deal ok.

It was a little bit of a headache but nothing too major. Ended up getting everything ready in the nick of time. Sticker was 9 and I got it inspected on the 2nd of this month (10)

The Smart ForTwo CDi has a 799cc that puts out 45hp and consumes diesel fuel at prodigiously frugal pace. It consumes a mere 3.3L/100km or approximately 71mpg which with a 33L tank means a potential range of over 620 miles. In addition it only emits 88g/km of carbon dioxide, putting it well ahead of any other internal combustion car on the road today.

88g/km of co2 = 141g/mile of co2. My car has more than twice the displacement and produces 203.78g/mile of co2. I thought this was high but considering my car is old and is approaching 200,000 miles... I think this is very low! Nay?

Well, co2 output is pretty much just gas mileage, :p

So the car was getting 50mpg on the Dyno.
