Welcome aboard, don't forget to fill out a garage and gaslog.

Tacomas come in 4 cylinders? Wow. How many liters? what's your FE? Do you mild P&G or P&G with ICE off? Do you have an EBH? Does your vehicle handle DWL well? Are you acronymophobic? I am. Welcome to GS. Remember, YMMV.

Welcome newby. We can always use more pickups on here.

1993CivicVX 10-15-2007 05:12 PM

FE = Fuel Economy
P&G = Pulse and Glide
EOC= Engine Off Coasting
ICE = Internal Combustion Engine
EBH = Engine Block Heater
DWL = Driving With Load
GS = Gassavers.org
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary

Well, those are the ones I know. Maybe a sticky thread of all the acronyms should be made. Then again, maybe discovering these things for one's self is half the fun.

There is a sticky with all the acronyms, :p

NOW ya tell me. After I learn them the hard way. :P

Welcome to GS! Is that a manual or automatic tranny? Based on what you wrote, I think you have this engine :

I see that the V6 comes with a 6-speed manual. Assuming the trannies were interchangeable for the moment, I wonder what the gear ratio is in the top gear of each tranny?
