UK date format incorrect

The log book date format is US when UK settings are selected. This also seems to be the case for the date of the best ever mpg in the basic stats.

Thanks for the heads up. Is the problem consistant across the site for you? Do you see UK dates when you look at your own vehicle log books? Do you see UK dates when you look at other people's log books? Or is it consistently US dates for every log book?

oh, another quick question: are you logged in when you're viewing?

jostlehim 07-01-2011 06:28 PM

Yes I'm logged in. Yes it seems to be consistent across my log books and across the site (although I think it was correct quite recently).

Agreed, I have the same issue

I can't recreate this on my end. If I set my country to United Kingdom in my settings, I see the appropriate date format everywhere.

You might try logging out and back in and then double check your country setting. I'm still looking at it, but I'm having trouble tracking down what's wrong.

I was seeing an incorrect date on my own refuelling log, logged out & back in, and now it's correct.

However the graph X-axis dates are also in the wrong format (although that's a pretty minor problem).

Logged out and back in, and logbook entries are fine now. As MMUK states, seeing incorrect format on axis of Recent Fuelups...

Cheers,

Joel

Thanks, that helps narrow it down, I'll see if I can figure out why a logout/login is required. Also we're about to switch to a new charts system so we'll try to iron that out before the move.

I don't know if this helps, but the same situation applied on another PC. After logging in & out on one PC, which fixed the issue on that PC, I went onto another PC, and had to do the same again.

So I guess it is related to cookies rather than a server-side user configuration setting.
