Moon Hub Caps & Wheel Skirts

I'm looking to buy some 13 inch moon hub caps and ran across these....

Will these work? Or are there better ones out there? Also looking to buy some wheel skirts. Does anyone on here make them and sell them?

Found these

Look a bit more aerodynamic then the first set I posted.

What do you all think?

JC whitney also has the moon hub caps, but they're really all practically the same, so just get them where they're the cheapest.
As for wheel skirts, I don't belive anyone makes them to sell. It's kind of a DIY project at this point, though it can't hurt to ask around I suppose.

JC whitney sells some wheelcover sideskirts, but I think they're limited to older cars...and I'm not sure if they sell them any more.

If worse comes to worse, I'll try and make my own.

I'm more of a computer geek, then a automotive expert tho. I have very few tools too.

Trying to learn and change all this! :)

Home depot sells side skirts for your car. It's in the building materials isle. For some reason they call it aluminum flashing, lol.

But seriously, the aluminum flashing and some tin snips and a long straight edge to bend against will work slick for making your own aero skirts.

Awesome!

Will look into that this weekend.

Thanks!

I *think* you have to mount these with screws, so you have to drill into your wheel. The other ones you posted have little teeth that allow you to pop them in and out of your steel wheel, so they don't work with alloys.

I had the pop-in kind. If you look on e-bay, there was a place selling 4 for $30. If you use the "Search The Forums" option, you should be able to find the thread. I paid $120 for a set of four way back in 1998.

I like these the best: https://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/4943...Moon-Disc.html

There's just something about the recessed lip on the others that I just don't care for.
