motorcycle epa ratings

i've seen a few people have epa's listed for their motorcycles. i was just wondering, where can these numbers be found? or if they are just dummy values?

I found this a while back regarding mileage on most bikes.

When I fill my tank, I just write the miles of the odometer and divide by the gallons of gas bought.

I guessed, my low number is what I figure my worst could be, and my high number is what I figure my best could be.
mpg numbers for motorcycles can be hard, I had a Yamaha RD350 for a while who's manual listed the gas mileage at I think 115mpg, but then went on to list that as being on a calm day, flat road, 140 pound rider driving at 35mph.
