VX EGR question

Some online dealers list it as EGR valve, and yet here it is referenced to a the EGR black box, which I have found pictures of online to confirm it exists. One forum elsewhere I came across said that only the 92 VX had the black box, while the 93-95 VXs had just an EGR valve. Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm dropping a D15Z1 in my CRX so any clarifying is welcome.

I own a 94 VX and it has the EGR control box, all of the VXs will have the control box. It's necessary for controlling the amount on lift on the EGR itself.

The EGR valve and the control "box" are two separate entities. The EGR valve is the part on the manifold that does the physical opening and closing to allow exhaust gases into the intake manifold. The Control Box contains a bleeder valve and a solenoid to actuate vacuum on the EGR valve.
