Phoenix friend of OPEC

Chuckles, "Well, I don't think my Venture is that bad, but I definitely need something that returns better numbers. I'm a courier here in Phoenix doing about 250 to 300 miles a day in driving, using a 2002 Chevy Venture that gets about 22 MPG, so I'm making QT very happy. As to me, I'm 35, 5'12, and have done some manner of driving job or another since 93. Guess I've not much more to volunteer, aside from being a coffee addict. See y'all around."

Assuming 275 miles per day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year, and 22 mpg, that is 3,125 gallons per year consumed.

A suggestion: he should find a used Chevy LUV diesel pickup truck, build a trapered bed cover and other efficiency mods for it; he'd have enough room to haul everything he needs to and also return 50+ mpg. He'd be a much richer man, especially if he could score a free source of WVO.

$10,000+/year in fuel is ridiculous.

Did, and I'll start working on the fuel log, its just going to take a bit as I have to do the mileage math manually here, although I may simply update at Phoenix Gas Prices, and transfer the numbers from there, though I've like 2 months of catchup to do there.
