Phishing scam in Any Bodymen? post

The below post by Dark Elf on Any Bodymen? Need rust advice has a pop up by RedBean.com asking for User name and Pass Word. Do not put your password or user name in said box. Just click the close button until it closes.

Same thing happened to me on that post.

No Scam, Sorry!

Sorry all!

Not a phishing scam! Didn't realize it needed a password to view. I must have screwed something up because I've used this before to let my friends view pix from an email link w/o problems. I'll try and edit and see if that fixes it.

Cordially,
=Tymme a.k.a. 'Darkelf'

p.s. is there another way to have embedded pix w/o needing a website host? I've tried the attachment method and prefer embedding.

use a hosting service that doesn't suck. like photobucket. www.photobucket.com

I wondered what the heck everyone was on about until later on this afternoon. I guess it wasn't requesting the password when he first posted the pix, and I got them cached locally, so kept going back to see what was going on... and nothing happened... until this afternoon when I guess they dropped out of the browser cache lol.

this was asking for a cell phone #. Am I being paranoid or is that a strange thing to require?

Kinda is, but I usually just change a number in my cell number so I don't get any calls.

The Problem posting has been edited to solve the password problem.
