Civic Vx higher idle?

Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this. My vx was idling around 200-300 rpms at idle. Now its idling at 800 rpms. I recently changed the oil and used some mobil 5w30 full synthetic. Now im thinking maybe it had 10w30 before? which caused it to have a lower idle? So my question is will changing the oil back make the rpms at idle go back down?

I started to use 10W 40 oil instead of 0W 30 because my ideal was bouncing up and down and it fixed the problem, it is also common for the pcv hose to leak right where it goes in to the oil separator on the back side of the engine, it's a $2 grommet to replace and about and hour or more of work if you have big hands.
