best car for city fe?

I'm driving all city, never going over 30 mph in really bad traffic, and no "in sync" lights so its very hard to time it.

whats the best auto/manual hybrid that wont use the engine before 30 mph?

you're going to want a plug-in hybrid( if you have access to electricity near where the car is parked overnight). If you're always in the city the engine will come on just to charge the battery at any speed.

I would say that the Toyota Prius is going to be your best choice for your type of driving as it can be driven as an all electric at low speeds, apparently lifting your foot off the accelerator twice rather quickly will turn the engine off while you are going down the road as long as the battery pack has enough charge, The other hybrids can't run without the gas engine.

looks like the prius is a good car for me..... anyways i fill up once a month so its about 50 a month if gas hits 5 a gallon

i might consider a prius if gas hits to really high levels to make it worth it

i'm just not too happy with the mpg that i'm getting because of where i live
